The principle: your progress stays with you

Most of your progress in Lefatzeach - seeds (XP), level, day streak, best scores, achievements and shop - is stored on your device only, and is never sent to us. Deleting the app permanently deletes this progress, and it does not sync automatically between devices. Two parts are handled differently, detailed below: the online leaderboard (Game Center) and the profile photo.

What we do not collect

The developer does not collect your name, email address, phone number or any other identifying detail. The app has no analytics or tracking tool of our own. We do not sell information to third parties.

Leaderboards and friend challenges

The online leaderboard and comparing with friends use Game Center - an Apple service connected to your Apple ID. The app only sends Game Center your scores (your best in each game and your seed totals); the name and photo shown on the leaderboard are the ones you chose in Game Center itself, not your local in-app profile photo. We do not see or store your Apple ID account details. A friend challenge is a link you choose to share (for example on WhatsApp), containing only the name in your profile, the game and your score. Profile photo

The profile photo you choose on the "My Patch" screen (from your device’s gallery) is stored on your device only, and is never uploaded to our server or any third party.

Ads (Google AdMob)

The free version (without an active subscription) occasionally shows ads via Google AdMob. Before the first ad, a consent form (UMP) is shown where required in your region. If you allow tracking (App Tracking Transparency), Google and advertisers may receive an advertising device identifier (IDFA), IP address and coarse location, and ad interaction data, to personalize ads and measure performance; without consent, only non-personalized ads are shown. A "Lefatzeach+" subscription removes ads entirely. Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

Purchases (Apple and RevenueCat)

The subscription and seed packs are processed and stored by Apple, via your Apple ID. To manage purchases and identify subscription status, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous user identifier (not your name or email) and your purchase history from Apple. App updates (Expo)

To fix bugs without waiting for a new store version, the app checks with Expo’s services (expo-updates) for an available update. This check only sends technical information, like app version and device type, with no name, identity or progress data. Expo’s privacy policy: expo.dev/privacy.

Daily reminder

A daily practice reminder, if you turned it on, is a local notification scheduled and stored on your device only - it never goes through our server and does not require an internet connection. You can turn it off or change its time anytime in "My Patch" or "Settings".

Review prompt

After a good moment in the app (like leveling up or breaking a record) Apple’s standard rating prompt (SKStoreReviewController) may appear. This is a built-in iOS component, and we do not receive any information about your response.

Children

Lefatzeach is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. Because we do not collect personal information from any user, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Deleting your data

You can reset your progress anytime in "My Patch" → "Reset Progress" (requires double confirmation), or delete all data by deleting the app from your device. Game Center data is managed separately via your Apple ID settings.

We may update this policy from time to time. A material update will be posted on this page with a new update date.
